Falmouth is an all the year round resort and we have an enviable record of sunshine. There are plenty of things to do outdoors, indoors, for the children and for sporting types. Here are some of our suggestions with links to their web pages for further details.
Outdoor Activities:
Dominating the headland at Falmouth is Pendennis Castle built in the reign of King Henry VIII.
Having visited Pendennis why not visit its sister castle St Mawes travelling by Fal River Link? Going by boat you can also visit Truro, Malpas, Trelissick Gardens, Tolverne and perhaps even go across to the Helford River visiting the famous Frenchman's Creek.
Cornwall is famous for its gardens and as well as Trelissick, there are two others nearby: Trebah and Glendurgan.
Towards Penzance there is the breathtaking view of St Michael's Mount which you reach over the causeway at low tide and by boat when the water is in.
Indoor Activities:
Within walking distance of the guest house are the beaches, the river links and the famous
Both within 3/4 hour driving distance are the Eden Project and The Tate Museum St Ives.
